Show me your grin

The light has dimmed
dark clouds hovering
You feel lost, deep is the frost
then thou light up the path,
use the close-up brushed teeth
by showing up your grin.

Heavy atmosphere, around lies despair
head sent for a health check
and the heart sent for a repair
Beware you have to be, for the times to come
still, hold up your chin
and show us your grin

The slate wiped out
the throat cried loud
open eyes means, a drop of tear
you are barely breathing, too faint to hear
to support, there is none of your kin
still, open the mouth, show us your grin

Yes, no medicine is better than a laugh
Laugh your heart out, because time will bring you crap
beauty of the life, lies in being becoming a fool
when all the time, you thought you were so cool
whatever comes in your path, take it with a pinch of salt
and laugh it off, don't be trapped in a halt

Equanimity is the word, for the life to prosper
happiness of the soul, the remedy for a disaster
it doesn't really depends, on the things lying out
you can be happy, be it desert or despite
Sing the song of the soul, hold up your chin
let not it vanish, show us your grin.
